Some of the trouble you could encounter

  • taking the miriad_ia32 that was compiled under fedora core 5 to an Ubuntu machine caused WIP to fail on the curses shared library. On Mandrake 10.1 wip would also fail with /lib/tls/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.4' not found. Though this latter problem was resolved by rebuilding wip: 
  % mirboss
  % rm $MIRLIB/libreadline.a
  % mir.prog wip
